The location of Coliseum is ideal for business travelers, as it's just a 10-minute walk from Sao Bento Train station and surrounded by affordable dining options. The staff was exceptionally helpful, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere throughout my stay. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which offered a reasonable variety each day, fueling my workdays adequately. Overall, my experience was comfortable and convenient, making it a recommendable choice.

The Wi-Fi connection was inconsistent and cut off when the TV was turned off.

The air conditioning was broken, but the room was spacious and comfy.

The hotel is conveniently located near many attractions, making it easy to explore places like Clerigos Tower and Ribeira Square. I particularly enjoyed the spacious suite we had, with its separate seating area that was perfect for relaxing after a day out. The rooftop breakfast was another highlight, offering a nice view to start each morning, and I appreciated the gluten-free options available upon request. Though there were a few minor things that could be improved, the overall experience was lovely for a family trip.

Sound-proofing needs improvement!!! The noise levels from nearby nightlife disrupt sleep!!! The strange bathroom designs with transparent doors compromise privacy!!! Basic toiletries could be upgraded for a better experience!!!

Nothing not to love.

During our recent stay, we explored the beautiful Douro River and made wonderful memories together. The hotel's central location made it easy to visit local attractions. Our superior suite was spacious and offered comfort for our family, especially with our baby.

My kids wished for more breakfast choices, specifically local food.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location, providing easy access to major tourist sites and charming eateries. The spacious suite was well-appointed, featuring a separate lounge area and a luxurious jacuzzi bath in the bathroom. However, soundproofing issues impacted sleep, particularly with noise from nearby nightlife, and the bathroom design compromised privacy. Breakfast options were adequate, but could benefit from more variety.

Our group had a great time exploring the area, enjoyed a scenic walk along the Douro River, and visited a local winery for a fun tasting. The staff was super friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. The location is ideal, allowing us to easily walk to all the attractions, and the breakfast was decent for starting our mornings.

One downside was the noise from a nearby club that made it hard to sleep, especially during the late hours. It was a bit frustrating, but we managed to work around it.
